Unprecedented Collaboration among Saint Gobain Group to support BCI Asia Awards 2018


Thai Gypsum Products Public Company Limited, the first gypsum manufacturer in Thailand and innovator of the leading brand “Gyproc”, continues to emphasize leadershipin interior drywall and ceiling systems among the real estate, design and construction sectors with continued sponsorship of the BCI Asia Awards 2018 for the fourth consecutive year. It represents a strong collaboration among the company and its component businesses under Saint-Gobain Group, including Weber, Saint-Gobain Glass and Isover. The award is given to firms in Asia which are nationally leading developers, and which have developed great design and implementation whilst highlighting concern for the environment. The award presentation ceremony was held at Pullman Bangkok King Power Hotel, and it enjoyed the participation of many highly respected leaders in the real estate, design and construction sectors.

BCI Asia Top 10 Awards was conferred by BCI Asia, the premier information provider for the construction industry which provides an extensive networking platform for elite property developers, architecture firms, engineering consultants, manufacturers and service providers. The Awards recognize leading developers and architecture firms building and designing the greatest (or most significant in volume) projects throughout Southeast Asia. For more than a decade, BCI Asia has identified top companies that have shaped the built environment into becoming the dynamic landscape it is today.

This year of the BCI Asia Award partnership has highlighted collaboration between the company among Saint Gobain group which includes Gyproc, Weber, Saint-Gobain Glass and Isover which together have organized booth activities to showcase products and integrated design following the Multi-Comfort solution. This concept was developed by Saint-Gobain to improve comfort, health and wellbeing of homeowners through a better built environment. The solution concept is classified into four categories based on senses of Seeing (Visual Comfort), Feeling (Thermal Comfort), Breathing (Indoor Comfort) and Hearing (Acoustic Comfort). Within this concept, Gyproc creates innovations to deliver comfort across all dimensions, ranging from environment-friendly solutions, acoustics, wet area, thermal, and health and safety. At the booth, Saint Gobain also offered consultancy on choosing the solutions which bring best performance to specific project requirements and budget. The event was a resounding success with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for conductive networking and relationship building – something that has been a staple mark for BCI Asia Awards over the years.
