Travelers in China are used to frequent flight delays, leaving holidaymakers with disrupted itineraries and business travelers missing appointments with customers. China’s leading aviation data technology provider, VariFlight has partnered with Amadeus to integrate Dynamic Flight Schedule, which will benefit over three hundred million air travelers significantly transforming VariFlight’s services beyond its dominant home market in China.

VariFlight currently offers airline schedules, live flight status, and real time service data for airport and aircraft in China, covering more than 94% of global commercial flights. Travelers are kept up to date if their flight will depart on time or is delayed. This allows for them to be more efficient with their time, making rescheduling easier as well as cut down unnecessary waiting time. VariFlight provides such services through its own app which has accumulated over 180 million downloads on iOS and Android platforms, as well as partners such as Baidu and Wechat.

Following this partnership, VariFlight is geared for global expansion and adding on ancillary services such as airport transfers, online travel bookings.

Brian Chien, Managing Director, Online Travel, Greater China says: “Flight disruption has become a recurring challenge for the travel industry, as traveler capacity is growing and an increasing complex nature of airline networks. We are proud to be working with VariFlight to deliver advanced airline schedules monitoring capability that will benefit millions of users globally.”

“We are excited to announce the integration of Amadeus flight schedule data into our VariFlight database which will enrich our content and data accuracy for our members.” said Hongfeng Zheng, Founder and CEO of VariFlight. “With this partnership, we’ll be able to further develop our services and expand globally.”
