Known for its unique concept of showcasing a wide range of art inside hotel rooms, Hotel Art Fair has become one of the Bangkok art world’s most anticipated events. Organized by FARMGROUP, the event brings together galleries, local and international artists and collectors under one roof with the aim of creating a vibrant and supportive community for art to thrive.
Back with its sixth annual event this June, Hotel Art Fair partners with W Bangkok, a hotel brand that appreciates arts and designs located at the heart of Bangkok business district. This year’s conversation will center on the topic of “Breaking Boundaries” – art can break boundaries by pushing and evolving and the mission of art is to seek and to express human emotions and point of view. Art is also a human treasure trove. This is where we keep all the memories of our time here. This year’s event will showcase the most diverse selection of participants yet, from local talents to emerging artists to major galleries from all over Asia.
Come and immerse yourself in the works of more than 30 leading galleries and independent artists including international names such as Richard Koh Projects, Artemis Art, L+/Lucie Chang Fine Arts, The Drawing Room – Project, Korea Tomorrow, Clear Gallery Tokyo and B-gallery along with local talents such as Number 1 Gallery, Joyman Gallery, Subhashok The Arts Centre (S.A.C.), La Lanta Fine Art, and Gallery Seescape etc.
Highlight includes Spectrum, a collaboration project by the Autistic Thai & Na Kittikhun Foundation that will display extraordinary artworks with a high level of creativity. Be touched by the humorous and heartfelt artworks created with love by autistic children.
In addition, the fair is proud to welcome an emerging Thai digital artist, Purin Phanichphant specially imported from San Francisco. He will be showcasing his playful interactive arts that transcend the relationship between the viewers and the digital world.
