VIVIN Grocery Cafe & Grocery is thrilled to announce the launch of its monthly special event, Thai Cheese Aligot Nights. Cheese enthusiasts will now have the opportunity to savour the rich and creamy flavors of French-style Aligot, made exclusively with 100% locally-sourced Thai ingredients. This exciting event will take place every first Friday of the month, starting from Friday, June 2nd, 2023.
Aligot, a beloved dish with a long-standing history in France, hails from the Aubrac region in the Massif Central. It is traditionally prepared using mashed potatoes, garlic, cream, and a distinctive Tomme cheese sourced from the Auvergne region. VIVIN Grocery’s rendition of Aligot features an indulgent twist with an impressive 40% Thai cheese-to-organic potato ratio, ensuring a rich and flavorful experience.
Guests attending the Thai Cheese Aligot Nights will be treated to an all-inclusive meal set per head priced at 890 THB Net.

To enhance the dining experience, GranMonte Vineyard & Winery, known for producing the first Khao Yai wine with a Geographical Indication Certificate (GI), will provide a glass of wines per set which perfectly pairs with the Thai Cheese Aligot.
VIVIN Grocery Cafe & Grocery will put their own unique twist on this classic recipe by utilising organic potatoes, locally-produced Thai cheeses (Le Doi Pao & Saltara Machima from Chiang Mai, Thailand), and organic cream sourced from Khao Yai. The official launch of the Thai Cheese Aligot Nights for the public will commence on Friday, June 2nd.
