Monsoon Valley was founded in 2001 by Chalerm Yoovidhya, a wine-loving entrepreneur with a vision to create a Thai wine culture. His first vineyard was at Tab Kwang and he then found the ideal spot in Baan Khork Changin with
varietals ranging from Colombard and Chenin Blanc, Sangiovese, Rondo to Shiraz. Muscat, Dornfelder, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon
Blanc were added in the next stage.
In 2013, he ventured further north to Chiang Mai.
We had the privilege to sample a wide array of Monsoon Valley’s wine repertoire in a wine dinner in Ventisi this week.
