If, like me, you enjoy the food sensation of authentic Spanish Tapas and happen to be in Bangkok, I have a top cuisine tip for you.
The amazing LUZ Tapas Bar is located on the 33rd floor of the INNSiDE by Meliá Hotel in the On Nut district. The panoramic view from this bar overlooking Bangkok is breathtaking. The super friendly waitstaff are clad in teal-coloured Polo shirts to match the bright and cheerful decor. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed, with a distinctive buzz of fun.
On the 34th floor is the rooftop terrace bar with a transparent infinity pool, where swimmers can be viewed from the Tapas bar underneath.
Tapas was once a complimentary bar snack or nibble with drinks in Spain. These small dishes offer a delicious variety of flavours, sizzling hot or refreshingly cold, and nowadays, they are usually combined to make a full meal.
Chef Juan Ignacio Garcia Racionero (Nacho) hails from Madrid and has worked in several renowned restaurants. He is happily spicing up the exciting tapa dishes on the menu at the LUZ Bar, where he delights in personally introducing his superbly presented delectable creations to the guests. LUZ Bangkok Tapas Bar is a big hit with locals and tourists.
The popular new menu includes 30 dishes. Tuna tartare with sold tomato soup, seabass sashimi with spicy pickled chilli sauce, and salmon with mango and passion fruit dressing are among the Chef’s Tapas Selection dishes, which highlight a variety of local Thai ingredients combined with Spanish flavours.
Spanish wines, beer on tap, signature cocktails, and sangrias complement the authentic tapas. By the way, ladies, Chef Nacho is also quite delightful!!
