Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s award-winning travel program with more than 200 million members worldwide, is kicking off Summer Music Fest 2024 with another series of exhilarating music events at Moxy and Aloft hotels, two of Marriott Bonvoy’s over 30 hotel brands and 10,000 destinations.
This year’s Summer Music Fest will present a lineup of engaging music events across Tokyo, Osaka, and Kyoto from July through September. A diverse range of talented and unique Japanese artists, from Tik Tok and YouTube sensations, singer-songwriters, to a monomane performer will headline the events:
- 20 July 2024: Shimizu Miisha & PeruPines at Moxy Osaka Shin Umeda
The Summer Music Fest takes off with musical performer Shimizu Miisha, who was chosen as the artist for the Japanese theme song in Disney’s Ultimate Princess Celebration. Also turning up the heat in Osaka is TikTok and YouTube sensations PeruPines.
- 10 August 2024: Kimika and Maruri at Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho
In August, the Tokyo music scene will heat up as Kimika, a singer-songwriter known for her four-octave range and husky yet delicate voice, performs at Moxy Tokyo Kinshicho. She will be accompanied by Maruri, a talented Instagram live star acclaimed for her vocal prowess, friendly and charming personality.
- 17 August 2024: Ren and PeruPines at Aloft Tokyo Ginza
21-year-old singer-song writer, Ren, selected by Spotify as the ‘Next Breakthrough Artist’ will keep the music going in Tokyo. He will be joined by PeruPines for a not-to-be-missed event.
- 6 September 2024: Secret Guest & PeruPines at Moxy Osaka Honmachi
The dynamic PeruPines joins the headline act Summer Music Fest, one of the Japan’s most popular monomane artist in Osaka for a not-to-be missed performance.
- 7 September 2024: Nijiiro Zamurai & Rutomo at Moxy Kyoto
Kyoto YouTuber and producer Zuma (Nijiiro Zamurai), who specializes is improvising songs within 5 seconds of being given a subject, takes the stage with harmony duo Rutomo, whose performance videos have garnered over 200 million views. Rutomo are also official ambassadors for the Summer Sonic 2023, so this is an event not to be missed.
- 20 September 2024: Rutomo and Maruri at Aloft Osaka Dojima
The music magic of 2024 comes to an unforgettable fade-out when Rutomo and Maruri light up the stage in Osaka to close out the Summer Music Fest in style.
Alongside the music festivities, the six participating hotels will also offer summer-themed food and beverage menus at their restaurants and bars from July to September.

Summer Music Fest 2024 is a continuation of Marriott Bonvoy’s efforts to enable real-life experiences and connection through the power of music in Japan. In January this year, Marriott Bonvoy was the touring sponsor of international megastar Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour in select cities. In March, Marriott Bonvoy sponsored Japanese pop music sensation Ado’s Shinzo Tour in Japan. Recently, Marriott Bonvoy had a chance to collaborate with K-pop sensations LE SSERAFIM, giving fans exclusive opportunities to attend events when they sign up as Marriott Bonvoy members.
