Vietjet Thailand’s 1st SAF Flight Celebrated with Fly Green Sale!

In recognition of the airline’s milestone in pioneering its first Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) flight, Vietjet Thailand launches the ‘Fly Green Sale’ promotion, offering special fares starting from THB 690 (inclusive of taxes and fees) for domestic routes and THB 1,690 (inclusive of taxes and fees) for international routes, available for booking from now until July 14, 2024, with the travel period from July 23, 2024, and March 31, 2025 (excluding public holidays, terms and conditions apply) at th.vietjetair.com.

The special promotional tickets are applied to Vietjet Thailand’s entire domestic flight network from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Hat Yai, Surat Thani, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, and Ubon Ratchathani and cross-country routes connecting Phuket to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, as well as Vietjet Thailand’s international network from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Vietnam, China, Fukuoka, Phnom Penh, Singapore, Taipei, and from Chiang Mai to Osaka. Recently, Vietjet Thailand marked a significant milestone in sustainable aviation by piloting its first Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) flight from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Da Nang International Airport, reinforcing its commitment to advancing the Fly Green mission. Although significantly more expensive than conventional fuel, Sustainable Aviation Fuel can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 80% compared to traditional fuels. SAF is safe and can be blended with regular fuel, ensuring seamless integration into current operations.

Currently, Vietjet Thailand operates the top 11 Thailand domestic routes, including flights from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) to Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Phuket, Krabi, Udon Thani, Hat Yai, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, and Surat Thani, cross-regional flights including from Phuket to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai.
