Bangkok Airways receives a 5-star rating from TAT’s STAR: Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating program Reinforcing the airline’s sustainability commitment

Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, represented by Mrs. Ariya Prasarttong-Osoth (left), Board Director and Chairman – CSR Working Committee, received a 5-star rating certificate (STAR: Sustainable Tourism Acceleration Rating program) from the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), represented by Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn (right), Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand,. The ceremony was recently held at the Jaruwat Room, TAT Head Office.

The 5-STAR certificate, which is the highest level in the STAR program, demonstrates Bangkok Airways’ sustainability commitment which is tangibly in line with TAT’s Sustainable Tourism Goals – STGs such as improving access to an efficiency of clean energy in the tourism industry through a study of alternative energy by the Airports Department, and greenhouse gas reduction in the tourism industry through an aircraft fuel efficiency project.
