Thailand’s Nautical Extravaganza Revitalizes Tourism

This stellar event, held from January 11-14 at the prestigious Royal Phuket Marina, has caught the fancy of over 6,000 attendees and is a lodestar for Thailand’s flourishing marine sector in the years ahead.

Graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Kitti Chaodee, Secretary to Thailand’s Minister for Tourism and Sports, the event underscored Thailand’s commitment to reinvigorate its tourism sector. Mr Kitti eloquently highlighted the pivotal role of this illustrious event in catapulting Thailand to the forefront of global tourism destinations.

The show, a kaleidoscope of luxury and innovation, outshone its inaugural edition with a dazzling array of sail and motor yachts, spanning the spectrum from modest million baht vessels to majestic superyachts valued upwards of 400 million baht. Among the maritime marvels is the 40-meter superyacht M/Y Silentworld, presented by ISEO Yachting of Hong Kong and TJB Superyachts of London, a testament to the event’s international allure.

Phuket’s Deputy Governor, Mr. Adul Chuthong, enunciated the region’s strategy towards sustainable tourism, a blueprint designed to etch Phuket’s name in the annals of premier global destinations. He emphasized the profound impact of marine tourism and the Boat Show on bolstering the local economy and fostering a sustainable, thriving community.
