1.32 million Baht raised from Honda LPGA 2019 donated to Siriraj Foundation

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. led by MrPitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. together with IMG Thailand led by MsWinnie Heng, Vice President and Managing Director, has donated 1,320,000 Baht, primarily raised from the auction of world class golfers’ donated items on “Honda LPGA Thailand Charity Night 2019” to Siriraj Foundation.  Emeritus Professor Dr. Phisit Chirawong, Deputy Managing Director, represented the foundation in receiving the donation at Mahidolbumpen Building, Siriraj Hospital. The donation will help underprivileged patients and fund medical equipment purchases.

MrPitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., said,

“I would like to express my gratitude to all of the golf fans, LPGA players and sponsors who helped in continuing to grow this tournament in Thailand and who made this event success. ‘Honda LPGA Thailand Charity Night 2019’ is a big part of the continuous social activities that we held as part of the tournament. This year, the donation was given to Siriraj Foundation to benefit patients and medical personnel. Honda is very proud to be a part of this charity.”

Honda LPGA Thailand Charity Night 2019 was held on Wednesday 20 February 2019 at Dusit Thani Pattaya with Items donated by the world-class Honda LPGA players, such as a pin flag signed by Georgia Hall from the Ricoh Women’s British Open, a signed shirt from Brooke MHenderson in the Marathon Classic presented by Owens Corning and O-I, and signed wedges from Lydia Ko, Moriya and Ariya Jutanugarn, as well as signed 2018 tournament shirts and pin flags including the signed 2019 golfers bag from other LPGA golfers.
