Mr. Matthias Y. Sutter, General Manager of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa hosted the annual ‘Heinecke Foundation’ scholarship ceremony at Mai Khao Ballroom recently. This year, we provided the scholarship to 56 children of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa’s Associates’ children. The total of THB 368,500 scholarship is awarded to children with the outstanding track record of excellence grades, good attitude and well behaved.
They are studying in 34 schools over the country, among Phuket, Phang Nga, Krabi, Satun,
Pattani, Songkha, Nakorn Srithammaraj, Roi-Ed, Mookdaharn, Nakorn Pathom and Yasothornm
provinces.
The Heinecke Foundation, named after the founder and CEO of Minor International, Bill Heinecke, supports less fortunate children of all ages throughout Thailand who have outstanding records of performance. Each year, the foundation gives scholarships to over 500 students which help support their education from early learning stages through to graduation. Since 2000, the foundation has supported thousands of children and many have since graduated to earn professional degrees.
