Accor signs first Mercure hotel in Cambodia

Accor, Southeast Asia’s largest international hotel operator, has signed its first Mercure property in Cambodia in the country’s capital, Phnom Penh. The 200-room Mercure Phnom Penh Beung Keng Kong 1 is set to open in 2027, joining the Group’s pipeline of four hotels across the country.

Mercure Phnom Penh Beung Keng Kong 1 will be located in the city’s Beung Keng Kong district, a vibrant neighborhood featuring an array of restaurants, bars, shops and international schools. The hotel will offer a restaurant, a bar, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness center, and a spa, as well as a range of meeting and events facilities. Boasting close proximity to the Independence Monument, Central Market, Royal Palace and National Museum, guests will be able to discover everything this bustling city has to offer.

The Mercure Hotels network is composed of over 119,000 rooms globally. Each hotel is rooted in local culture and is complimented by generous hospitality and a commitment to offering high-quality standards.
