AEON Thailand Foundation Champions Si Lanna Forest Revival

AEON Thailand Foundation led by Mr Tsutomu Omodera, Managing Director of AEON Thana Sinsap (Thailand) Public Company donated 500,000 baht to Si Lanna National Park in Chiang Mai to patronise the national park’s watershed forest revival program in 2023. The donation is a part of the AEON Grow Green project, which aims to restore 120-rai watershed forests located in Ban Thung Luk village and Ban Pang Mayao village in Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai by planting over 24,000 trees. The goodwill of the foundation is to be a part of protecting, reviving, and nurturing a sustainable ecosystem, in line with the foundation’s mission to enhance living standards and to encourage sustainable development of local and environment in Thailand.

The forestation took place at Ban Thung Luk village in Chiang Dao district, Chiang Mai, and was joined by the foundation’s management and volunteers together with local offices, including the director of the national park, Protected Area Regional Office Unit 16 (Chiang Mai), Assistant District Officer of Chiang Dao, government bureau offices, residents, and students.
