ALATi brings fresh perspective to classic Mediterranean dining with Kempinski White Gloves Service

High-quality, authentic service combined with personal care is an important maxim of ALATi by Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

In order to maintain a high level of service and guest comfort, both during these challenging times and when normal business operations resume, the international luxury hotel group with European roots has launched the Kempinski White Gloves Service.

This extensive service covers every aspect of each luxury hotel’s service operations. Hotels will continue to observe local and national health and safety regulations and COVID-19 guidelines.

‘It is crucial that we continue to deliver authentic services to our guests in a clean and safe environment. Every guest and visitor must have total confidence in the cleanliness and disinfection of our premises, and we, of course, are eager to continue and even surpass our levels of personalised service,’ said Richard Schestak, Managing Director – Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok.

To support the implementation of Kempinski White Gloves Service, the company has issued comprehensive guidelines to all Kempinski hotels worldwide that detail the essential health and safety procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic, including guest arrivals, food and beverage, housekeeping, meetings/events and public areas.

All employees at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok will wear white gloves as well as face masks during all guest interactions.

There are now mandatory temperature checks on all residents, visitors and suppliers as they arrive at the hotel. Hand sanitisers are positioned at all entrances of the hotel, and in public areas, restaurants and function rooms.

ALATi returns with ‘Up the Road’ menu

ALATi, the Mediterranean restaurant at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok, has reopened with a takeaway and delivery menu designed for comfortable eating and sharing at workplaces and homes.

‘ALATi Up the Road’ offers top-quality, flavoursome dishes, such as Spiced Lamb and Pistachio Flatbread, Pumpkin Hummus, Burrata & Muhammara, Truffle Chicken Liver Pâté, Falafel or Chicken Gyros Pitta, Cavatelli Bolognese and many more. Dishes from this new menu are available daily from 12:00 noon to 19:30 hrs. Diners enjoy a 10% discount when ordering direct, and ALATi offers free delivery within the Bangkok Metropolitan Area for orders over THB 800 net. ALATi Up the Road is also available now via LINE MAN and will be available via foodpanda by the end of May 2020.

ALATi is located on the lobby floor of Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok and opens daily from 12:00 noon to 20:00 hrs.

When dining at ALATi, guests are encouraged to use the hand sanitisers at the welcome counter and to maintain a respectful distance from other diners when the hostess guides them to their table. Dining tables accommodate two to six persons and are separated by a minimum of 1.5 metres. Tables are set when every guest is seated, and a hand sanitiser is provided.

Enhanced cleaning plans are provided by hygiene products supplier Diversey through wall charts and online guidelines to visualise, step by step, the flow of disinfection and the cleaning of the restaurant. All tables, chairs, other furniture and equipment are disinfected before and after usage.

For payment, a credit card scanner is presented at the dining table. These comprehensive health and safety measures also apply to employees working in the kitchen and service areas.
