ANA Celebrates 30th Anniversary of Bangkok-Tokyo Route

ANA holds a blessing ceremony for the30th Anniversary of Bangkok – Tokyo Route on July 14, 2019.
All Nippon Airways (ANA), Japan’s largest and 5-Star airline for seven consecutive years, today marked 30 years since its inaugural flight between Bangkok and Tokyo on July 14, 1989.

In a fitting tribute to the inaugural flight, a special ceremony was organized at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport where passengers traveling on flight NH850 to Tokyo, Haneda was surprised by a flash mob performance by ANA cabin crew in its uniform of the past three generations, worn over the last 30 years. Passengers were then warmly greeted by the President and CEO of ANA, as well as other ANA staff at the check in counter.

At the boarding gate, ANA presented each passenger with a package of anniversary gift which came with an original cookie and ANA labeled cosmetic porch, exclusively manufactured by NaRaYa, a shop with the reputation of its high-quality fabric product to conclude the event.

ANA has also launched a program called “Thank You Campaign” in line with this 30th anniversary related event. This special campaign is valid until September 30, 2019 where a campaign entrant purchasing an applicable ANA ticket is granted a chance of winning an attractive grand prize, which is Business Class round trip pair ticket on Bangkok – Tokyo route.

Currently, ANA operates five daily flights between Bangkok and Tokyo by a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Since the beginning of operations in Bangkok, ANA has continued to expand its presence and endeavors to continuously improve service quality to provide the best hospitality with Japanese “Omotenashi” spirit to our international passengers as a global leading airline.
