Anantara Chiang Mai Resort, located on the banks of the Mae Ping River and in the second largest cultural city in Thailand, knows the importance of celebrating the holidays together and is pleased to announce the celebration of Loy Kratong Festival at the hotel. Celebrate Thailand’s most magical and spectacular festival at the resort with the most captivating events.

To honor the night of Loy Kratong, Anantara Chiang Mai will be hosting guests to an international buffet dinner with delectable cuisine from Thailand, China, Vietnam, India and Japan. Dinner will include an array of desserts, teas, coffee and signature cocktails. Offer will be available on Monday, November 11 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at The Service 1921 Restaurant & Bar at $90 USD per person – children under the age of 12 receive complimentary entry. Guests are also invited to launch the festival at the hotel pier in the evening.

Anantara Chiang Mai knows how important it is for guests to unwind from their busy lives when staying at the resort. During the months of October and November, enjoy the resort beyond the holidays by booking two nights or more to receive a 30-minute energizing massage for two guests, and resort credit during the stay.

In addition to spectacular installations, Anantara Chiang Mai is home to The Service 1921 Restaurant & Bar, where Loy Kratong Festival will take place this year. The once British Consulate, conjures a surreal illusion of the British secret service intelligence. Enjoy exclusive and elegant wine tastings, Cuban Cigars, Chinese Szechuan and Vietnamese cuisine in the refined private dining room.

The resort offers 84 sleekly designed rooms and suites with private balconies and terraces. Guest rooms feature double daybeds overlooking manicured grounds, the colonial house or river. The resort offers two restaurants and bars as well as in-room dining prepared onsite by a private chef.

Anantara Chiang Mai Resort is ideally located in the heart of the city near the riverfront.  A leisurely 15-minute stroll takes guests to the city’s popular Night Bazaar, outdoor markets, riverside boutiques and restaurants, as well as the exquisite temples of the traditional old city. Anantara’s knowledgeable staff will help more adventurous guests discover nearby experiences, like zip-lining through the rainforest, exploring the national parks, river rafting and local golf courses.
