Spark up the night of love with Valentine’s Dinner, an exclusive set dinner prepared with prime winter black truffle by a team of talented chefs at Akira Back. For your special celebration, Akira Back Restaurant and Bar, the innovative cuisine on the 37th floor of Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, sources the premium quality winter black truffle to be the star ingredient of the Valentine’s special set dinner. Incorporating the culinary techniques from Japanese and Korean to western cuisine, each dish is designed to delight and add exclusive touch to the romantic night for couples with vegetarian option on offer.

The Valentine’s Dinner set starts off with an appetizer, Crustacean Truffle Bomb, where prawn and black truffle balls are fried to crispiness and served with chive jelly and seaweed paste. Next up on the list is Bluefin Tuna Tartare with fresh tuna and black truffle, served alongside spicy ponzu mayo sauce. Continue to the main dish, Andaman Sea Bass, served with garlic truffle puree and yuja sauce followed by Grilled Iberico Pork Pluma, meat from the shoulder of rare breed pig from the Iberian coast, grilled in bulgogi style to add a Korean touch, served with truffle herb salad and truffle bordelaise sauce. Cap off the dreamy dinner with Baba Au Rhum, where vanilla cream pastry is served with truffle ice cream, sprinkled with truffle powder on top. The set is served at THB 3,500++ per person.

Akira Back also offers Vegetarian Valentine’s Dinner option. Starting off with Truffle Bomb where mushroom balls are fried to crispiness and served with seaweed caviar. Followed by Kabocha Soup with black truffle, honey roasted carrot and chives. The star of the night is Cauliflower Risotto perfumed with smoked mushroom, white truffle oil and broccoli bits. Last on the savory list is Korean-style Grilled Lotus Root Bulgogi served with black truffle slices and Korean glass noodle “Japchae”. End the meal with a romantic note with Baba Au Rhum. The vegetarian set is served at THB 2,800++ per person.

Akira Back also offers wine pairing package to make the night even more memorable at an additional of THB 1,850++ per person. For a more exclusive experience, the restaurant can also arrange the dinner in a private room at THB 11,000++, the couple will get two dinner sets and one bottle of Champagne. Children under 12 years old can also dine in with a la carte option.
