Cigna Insurance, in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand, introduces travel insurance for inbound travelers

Cigna, one of the leading online international travel insurance policy providers, has introduced a worry-free travel insurance plan for tourists as Thailand begins opening its border to foreign travelers. Under new regulations, all visitors to Thailand need a COVID-19 insurance policy with an insured amount of at least USD 100,000.

Cigna’s plan provides coverage required by the government to cover treatment of COVID-19 and can also be used to claim up to the same limit for medical treatment for other illnesses, including accidents, with a limit of 3.5 million baht. Policyholders can receive treatment at more than 450 Cigna Network Hospitals nationwide, including, Samitivej Hospital, BNH Hospital, Bumrungrad Hospital, Bangkok Hospital, Rama 9 Hospital in Bangkok, and over 200 hospitals around the country, simply by visiting the hospital and showing their Cigna E-Card Card and passport to hospital staff.

Customers can visit https://buy.cigna.co.th/travelinbound/tatinfinity/ to choose the length of coverage according to their visit, with 30 day, 60 day and 90 day packages available. Payment can be made by credit card and customers will receive a certified document to enter Thailand by email within one hour.
