Thaiwatsadu, a leading retailer of construction materials and home décor products, operating in the name of CRC Thaiwatsadu Co., Ltd. under Central Retail, took a step forward in the construction and home improvement market by inaugurating the first branch of the year, “Thaiwatsadu x BnB home, Branch Udon Thani, Kud Sa.” This branch, covering an area of 40 rai with a service area of 19,500 square metres, is located on the potential route of Mittraphap road in Tambon Kud Sa, District of Mueang Udon Thani, Udon Thani province. It marks the 80th branch nationwide, reaffirming Thaiwatsadu’s strength as a one-stop centre for home products, construction, and decoration services, catering to the needs of entrepreneurs, contractors, professionals, and home lovers alike. Additionally, it supports the economic expansion of Udon Thani province, which is projected to grow by 3% in 2024 (from 2023), along with the industrial sector’s anticipated 3% expansion. This growth is further propelled by increased demand in the construction and real estate sectors in the northeastern region.

Mr. Suthisarn Chirathivat, CEO of CRC Thaiwatsadu, revealed that Thaiwatsadu has a strategy to continuously expand its branches. The recent opening of the first branch of the year, ‘Thaiwatsadu x BnB home at Udon Thani – Kud Sa,’ the 80th branch in the White Format, is the second branch in Udon Thani. The first branch is located in Tambon Nong Khon Kwang, Mueang Udon Thani District, on an investment of over 600 million baht. Within the store, there is a collection of construction materials, tools, and branded home décor products totaling over 40,000 items. The opening of ‘Thaiwatsadu Udon Thani – Kud Sa’ aims to elevate the endless home experience.

  • The White Format addresses every aspect of home improvement with convenience under one roof — It combines the strengths of both brands, Thaiwatsadu and BnB home, offering a comprehensive range of construction materials, tools, electrical appliances, and home décor products, designed and innovated to enhance lifestyles and create a more livable home. With over 40,000 product lines, customers receive complete and convenient service from expert home craftsmen from the vFIX team, providing consultation, repair, renovation, decoration, or installation services.
  • Stimulating the economy — Udon Thani province is a high-potential area in the industrial, service, agricultural, consumer, and private investment sectors, which continues to expand. In 2023, Udon Thani province had a Gross Provincial Product (GPP) of 120 billion baht, ranking fourth in the northeastern region. Moreover, the Udon Thani Provincial Development Plan (2023-2027) aims to develop Udon Thani into an economic hub, transportation centre, tourist destination, and MICE hub in the Mekong River basin. Thaiwatsadu Udon Thani – Kud Sa, and other branches throughout the northeastern region will contribute to economic growth and industrial expansion, providing up to 300 jobs.
  • Meeting Every Access Need — Thaiwatsadu x BnB home Udon Thani – Kud Sa, strategically situated on a high-potential location along Mittraphap road, serves as a convenient transportation hub linking various provinces in the northeastern region. Easily accessible and able to connect to the Laotian capital of Vientiane (through Nong Khai province) approximately 47 kilometres away, this new Thaiwatsadu branch is set to cater to the increasing demand from over 200,000 households in the area, including Udon Thani town and surrounding districts like Ban Phue, Phen, Kut Chap, and Phibun Rak. Moreover, its proximity to neighboring countries allows for a greater influx of customers from abroad.

“Thaiwatsadu recognizes the potential in every aspect of Udon Thani province and has taken a step forward to open ‘Thaiwatsadu x BnB home Udon Thani – Kud Sa,’ as another store to strengthen Thaiwatsadu’s presence in the northeastern region. I am confident that this branch will be well received by the local population and nearby residents. Furthermore, Thaiwatsadu is committed to sustainable business operations in all aspects, including the economy, society, and environment. Initiatives such as offering free space in Thaiwatsadu to support communities in distributing local products and introducing electric-powered trucks to reduce diesel consumption in freight distribution in the country, are underway. Additionally, Thaiwatsadu acknowledges the importance of public health in the Tambon Kud Sa community and has collaborated with business partners to support donations to Kud Sa Tambon Health Promoting Hospital to enhance medical capabilities for the local community,” Mr. Suthisarn concluded.

This expansion of Thaiwatsadu branches in the northeastern region has now reached a total of 17 branches, including Chaiyaphum, Surin, Buriram, Sakon Nakhon, Khon Kaen, Ubon Ratchathani, Roi Et, Maha Sarakham, Mukdahan, Udon Thani, Nong Bua Lamphu, Loei, Nakhon Ratchasima (Pak Chong), Nakhon Ratchasima (Hua Thale), and Si Sa Ket, making it the largest branch network after Bangkok and its surrounding areas.
