Gwendal Poullennec, the International Director of the Michelin Guide, expressed enthusiasm about this expansion. “Vietnam’s culinary scene continues to impress with its dynamic and authentic flavors. By introducing Da Nang into our esteemed collection, we aim to highlight the unique and rich gastronomy of Vietnam’s central region. Da Nang is renowned not only as a tourist paradise but also as a haven for food enthusiasts. The city proudly represents Central Vietnamese cuisine, offering an array of traditional dishes that have captivated the Michelin inspectors. Local specialties such as Mì Quảng, Bún Chả Cá, and the iconic Bánh Xèo stand out with their unique flavours and cooking techniques. Furthermore, Da Nang’s seafood offerings, sourced directly from crystal-clear local waters, promise an unparalleled dining experience that ranges from sophisticated restaurant settings to the charming simplicity of street-side eating.
