Frederic Kolde assumes the role of hotel manager at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel.Minor Hotels, the renowned global hospitality company with an impressive portfolio of over 530 properties spanning 50 countries, proudly announces the appointment of two exceptional individuals to leadership positions at its esteemed flagship hotels in Bangkok. The company’s commitment to nurturing talent from within has promoted Jose Luis Duran Sanles as the new General Manager of Avani+ Riverside Bangkok Hotel. At the same time, Frederic Kolde assumes the role of Hotel Manager at Anantara Siam Bangkok Hotel, effective immediately.

Jose Sanles, an esteemed industry professional, embarks on his first general manager position after serving as the hotel manager at the iconic Anantara Siam for over a year. With a wealth of experience overseeing operations at the grand dame of Bangkok, boasting 354 keys, eight restaurants, two bars, and an array of event venues, Jose has consistently exhibited his exceptional leadership skills. Since he arrived in Bangkok in 2016, he has called this vibrant city home, initially joining Shangri-La Bangkok as the Director of Food & Beverage. His remarkable dedication and proficiency resulted in his eventual promotion to Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage.

While Jose briefly explored the dynamic hospitality scene in Korea as the Food & Beverage Manager at Conrad Seoul from 2014 to 2016, his heart has always been in Thailand, where he has held various management positions at luxury resorts in Khon Kaen, Koh Lanta, and Phuket for over a decade. The Spanish national’s exceptional capabilities are underpinned by a diploma in Hotel Management from Les Roches Marbella International School.

Stepping into Jose’s former role as hotel manager at Anantara Siam Bangkok is the highly accomplished Frederic Kolde, a true connoisseur of luxury. Frederic joins the property from Anantara Riverside, where he has excelled as the hotel manager since September 2022. In his new capacity, Frederic is poised to leverage his strengths to enhance personalization and customization, making it the cornerstone of the guest experience.

Frederic embarked on his first leadership position shortly after graduating from the prestigious Swiss Hotel Management School (SHMS), where he assumed the role of pre-opening Assistant Manager at the signature steakhouse of the renowned Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. Remaining dedicated to the Hyatt brand until 2016, he took on the challenge of managing The Oak Door Steakhouse at Grand Hyatt Tokyo in 2012. Afterwards, he returned to Grand Hyatt Hong Kong as Assistant Director of Food & Beverage in 2014.

Continuing his journey, Frederic ventured to Thailand, assuming the Director of Food & Beverage role at the esteemed Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok before his career took him to China. During the tumultuous years of the pandemic, Frederic showcased his remarkable leadership acumen as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Food & Beverage at Hyatt Regency Beijing Wangjing.
