Dusit International, one of Thailand’s leading hotel and property development companies, has opened its first standalone spa venue in the heart of Bangkok under its popular Namm Spa concept.
Situated on the second floor, Zone B of Samyan Mitrtown, a new mixed-use property on Rama IV Road near the city’s Central Business District and next to Samyan MRT (underground) station, the standalone venue is now positioned as the flagship branch of the Namm Spa concept. Other branches can be found at Dusit International’s full-service, deluxe hotels in Abu Dhabi, Bhutan, Dubai and the Philippines.
The stylish outlet also serves as the new home for fans of Dusit’s award-winning luxury Devarana Spa at Dusit Thani Bangkok hotel, which is currently being redeveloped as part of Dusit Central Park, a landmark mixed-use project opposite Bangkok’s Lumpini Park. The new hotel and spa is slated to open as part of the project in 2023.
Namm, translated from Thai, means water. It also serves as an acronym for the spa’s fourpronged spa concept – Natural, Aroma, Massage, and Marine – which has been carefully designed to promote overall well-being through a range of massage therapies and beauty treatments conducted using the finest, natural products in an atmosphere of calm and tranquillity.
Well-placed lighting, delicate ornamental plants, and the soothing aromas of essential oils all add to the feeling of peace and serenity throughout the thoughtfully designed space.
Namm Spa’s skillful therapists have been trained to deliver a wide variety of massage therapies, spa programmes and beauty treatments, ranging from traditional Thai massage (THB 1,900++) and Reflexology (TBH 700++) to Rose Petal Body Scrubs (THB 1,500++), Anti-Ageing Facials (THB 2,200++), Urban Retreat Packages such as Jet lag Recovery (THB 4,500++), Nail Polishing services (starting at THB 250++), and much more.
Created exclusively for Namm Spa Bangkok, the Namm Spa Signature Massage (THB 2,400++) combines three massage techniques – Thai, Lomi Lomi, and Abhyanga – to soothe the mind, body and spirit.
Also unique to Namm Spa Bangkok is Samyan Market’s Charm (THB 3,200++). This twohour treatment is inspired by the traditional desserts of the local Samyan Market and features a skin-nourishing body scrub comprising palm sugar, dried coconut, and fragrant pandan to deliver all-over refreshment. This is followed by the signature Namm Spa Signature Massage for ultimate relaxation.
All treatments and therapies are conducted in the privacy and comfort of the spa’s wellappointed rooms, including seven standard rooms and one deluxe room. Manicures and pedicures take place in a comfortable communal area at the front of the outlet.
