Epicurean Cuisine and iconic Montes wines at Up & Above

Gourmands are in for a real treat at Up & Above Restaurant and Bar at The Okura Prestige Bangkok on the evening of Thursday, 16 May 2019 with a multi-course dinner featuring international dishes with Japanese twists paired with great wines from Chilean producer Montes. These exceptional wines are lovingly created in the microclimates of the Colchagua, Curico and Casablanca Valleys and have received some of the highest scores in the world.   

The Montes wine dinner starts at Up & Above Bar with a selection of sophisticated canapés accompanied by 2017 Montes Classic Sauvignon Blanc and continues at Up & Above Restaurant where courses of Hokkaido hotate, mushrooms and camembert, kurobata belly and duck confit are paired with 2015 Montes Alpha Chardonnay, 2016 Montes Limited Selection Pinot Noir, 2015 Montes Purple Angel Carmenere and 2012 Montes Folly Syrah respectively. Star of the dinner is a main course of succulent Kagoshima beef paired with 2013 Montes Alpha M. Premium illy coffee and Mariage Frères tea with desserts of yuzu meringue and yogurt verbena sorbet end a great meal.

The Montes Wine Dinner takes place on 16 May 2019 from 6:30 p.m. at Up & Above Restaurant and Bar. Priced at Baht 4,500++ per person. Early Bird bookings made by 10 May 2019, special price offer at Baht 3,600++ per person.
