To eliminate the risk of infection, comprehensive safety, hygienic, and social distancing measures have been implemented throughout the property. At all times, we are fully compliant with every national and local health authority regulation and have also implemented additional precautionary measures to ensure the highest standards of health and safety. Some of the measures include:
- Temperature body scans and hand sanitation stations are located at all points of entry. Sanitation stations have been placed in key areas throughout the property. Additionally, the main access point is equipped with a walk-in sanitation tunnel.
- Provide a temperature check point upon the registration desk and provide registration and attendance record for the participants.
- Face masks are required prior to entering and while inside the property. Additionally, face masks and shields are required for event exhibitors.
- Layouts for convention halls, meeting rooms and dining areas are fully compliant with social distancing guidelines.
- QR code scanning has been implemented to monitor attendance in meeting rooms and convention halls.
- Enhanced cleaning and hygienic measures have been put in place across all public and back-of-house areas and high touch points throughout the property. Additionally, the air is circulated in and out of the building every 30 minutes.
- Social distancing signage is placed at doorways and lobbies and furniture in public areas is arranged to allow for social distancing.
- Meeting rooms and public areas are thoroughly cleaned then disinfected with aerosol sprayers to eliminate 99.9% of all bacteria, viruses, and pathogens.
- Convention halls, meeting rooms, and public areas undergo extensive regular deep cleaning and disinfection especially the surfaces that come into contact with the human body.
- Chefs have prepared a wide range of individual meal sets for onsite dining.
- Staff have been highly trained on COVID-19 practices, procedures, and guidelines and their travel histories and health are monitored on a daily basis.
All Convention halls and meeting rooms are equipped with the latest technology, including built-in LCD projectors and screens, wireless Internet access, and personalized stationery.
The Bangkok Convention Centre is backed by a highly trained and dedicated groups of staff, event planners, and culinary experts to fulfill all your convention and meeting needs.
Additionally, we just received the “Amazing Thailand Safety and Health Administration: SHA” certification for meeting, hygiene, health, and safety standards issued by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).
