French Dégustation With A Traditional Flair by Maison Jean Philippe And Centara Grand Hua Hin

The spotlight of Hua Hin dining scene shines on Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin as the iconic hotel prepares for a delectable dégustation experience in collaboration with a famed artisan bakery, Maison Jean Philippe.

In the evening of Saturday, 27 July 2019, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin invites you for a special dinner “French Dégustation With A Traditional Flair”, in collaboration with one of Bangkok’s most renowned artisan bakeries, Maison Jean Philippe.

A true artisan bakery with an old French inspired flair, Maison Jean Philippe is passionate about making some of the best breads with the great principle of applying traditional French savoir-faire to high-quality seasonal produce.

All breads from Maison Jean Philippe are made in-house using only four basic ingredients from the finest source; from unbleached flour, wild yeast, water and salt, with the bakery’s signature fermentation method. Handcrafted by a talented and passionate team, Maison Jean Philippe’s baked goods continue to deliver the centuries-old heritage of artisan bread to your table.

Promising the first of its kind for a dining experience in Hua Hin, the 10-course dégustation menu features a variety of Maison Jean Philippe‘s artisan breads with delectable creations of the hotel’s Chef de Cuisine Tharathon Chindaphu. Each of the hand-crafted dishes will showcase unexpected flavour combinations that excitingly enhance the taste and texture of traditional French breads, allowing well-balanced subtleness in the finished dish.

Highlights of the dégustation menu include the classic foie gras au cognac on fig bread, authentic French Bouillabaisse with a traditional baguette, and pork rillettes with pickled apricot on Savoyard loaf. Diners will also enjoy a fantastic brioche French toast served with Vanilla ice cream, alongside a fine selection of French cheese and walnut bread. A special wine-pairing option is also offered.
