Bett, the global community for education technology, is proud to host the 6th annual Bett Asia Leadership Summit & Expo in Bangkok from 11 – 12 October at The Athenee Hotel, co-hosted with the Ministry of Education Thailand and the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Thailand.
The event consists of a two-day expo showcasing the latest technologies, tools and resources for education, an exclusive leadership summit exploring key opportunities to enhance future education systems and learning outcomes, and the Bett Asia Awards which celebrate excellence of education innovators and leaders.
Bett Asia 2022 will reunite the Asia-Pacific (APAC) EdTech community in person for the first time in three years, driving new investment, learning and partnership opportunities across the region. Under the theme ‘Education as a Catalyst for Change’, the event will gather education leaders, policy and decision-makers and technology champions to discuss how to invest in education technology so that it can develop the next generation of leaders and global citizens.
The Leadership Summit will showcase the best minds in education, from regional Ministers of Education and inspirational keynote speakers including Chandran Nair, Founder & CEO of the Global Institute For Tomorrow, to the change-makers creating real impact on the ground throughout the K12 and Higher Education learning ecosystems.
The Expo will enable education professionals to discover the latest technologies and resources designed to address their most pressing challenges and priorities, featuring global tech giants including Microsoft, HP, Intel, Lenovo, and Zoom and cutting-edge EdTech startups from APAC and beyond.
The Classroom Theatre will showcase the latest innovations and solutions revolutionising teaching &learning and institution management and is CPD accredited for attendees to top up their professional development. Brand new for 2022, Bett Asia is also excited to launch the Bett Asia Startup Competition, recognising the very best that Asia’s EdTech startup space has to offer, showcasing cutting-edge innovations that are powering change in education across the region. Hosted in collaboration with SuperCharger Ventures, the competition will culminate in an in-person pitching final in the Classroom Theatre at Bett Asia 2022, during which finalists will battle it out in front of a shark tank-style judging panel of experts.
Tom Poole, Director of Bett Asia said, “We are thrilled to invite all of you who are interested in education and EdTech to Bett Asia 2022 in Bangkok. Although this is our 6th annual Bett Asia expo, this is a particularly exciting year for us as it is the first time that we are holding the expo in Thailand. This will be a great opportunity for the education and technology sectors in APAC to come together. The two-day event will be informative, fun and inspirational for all participants. So, save the dates and come join the EdTech community.”
The Bett Asia Awards will celebrate EdTech trendsetters and innovators across APAC. Nominations are now open and will be judged by Bett Advisory Board. The prize ceremony will take place in-person at Bett Asia on 11th October, recognizing education excellence with the The 21st Century Learning Award, The Pioneer Award, The Game Changer Award, The Disruptor Award and more.
