This achievement will encourage GWM to raise its production quality further to deliver electric vehicles that serve the needs of consumers in Thailand and ASEAN. The opening of our Smart Factory for manufacturing electric vehicles in Rayong province has brought a phenomenon to Thailand’s automotive industry and proclaimed our readiness to produce and sell our products in the ASEAN market. We have utilized GWM’s innovation in production, logistics, and digital operations, while also creating more jobs, developing EV-related knowledge, and promoting an understanding of technology significant to producing quality EVs for Thai people. Importantly, since the beginning of business operations in Thailand, GWM has invested 12 billion baht and created 3,000 jobs, and we plan to invest 22.6 billion baht in total. We will continue to practice our strategic vision and business philosophy of sustainable development, explore new opportunities and possibilities in creating new green and low-carbon models while planning localized operations and investment for 100% vehicles and parts in Thailand, and build a green chain of environmentally-friendly cars, green factories, and green travel. We will improve our staff’s capabilities and enhance our factory’s manufacturing capacity to contribute to Thailand’s transformation into an EV production hub for ASEAN, and eventually, one of the key destinations for investors across the globe.”
