Great Wall Motor Expands Fleet Business Partnerships through Collaboration with Hertz Thailand, Delivering ORA Good Cat to Leverage EV Ecosystem

Great Wall Motor (GWM) is continuing to expand its partnerships with fleet businesses, delivering ORA Good Cat models to Hertz Thailand through Paragon Car Rental Co., Ltd. – a leading car rental company in Thailand authorized by Hertz USA. 

The initiative will allow customers to access an exceptional driving experience with this beloved vehicle at a starting price of only 999 baht per  day, promoting non-polluting and environmentally-friendly transportation to further pursue the stature of Thailand’s xEV leader committed to providing intelligent EV products and cutting-edge technologies while collaborating with all sectors to strengthen the country’s EV ecosystem and grow alongside Thai society in a sustainable way.

Held at Kronos Sathorn Tower, the vehicle handover ceremony was attended by Rattawut Panichewa, Chief Executive Officer; and Siriwat Laisuebsak, Chief Operating Officer of Paragon Car Rental Co., Ltd, as the consignees of 20 units of ORA Good Cat 400 TECH from Narong Sritalayon, Managing Director; and Suparang Anuchapreeda, Director of Communications of Great Wall Motor (Thailand).

The Good Cat will be presented to consumers to deliver an exceptional driving experience, packed with innovative safety technology and various technological facilities. GWM is planning to consolidate the collaboration by fulfilling both future short-term and long-term Hertz Thailand portfolios with other models from GWM. We believe that the partnership between GWM and Hertz Thailand will be another testimonial that emphasizes the private sector’s commitment to supporting government policy promoting clean energy vehicles among the public, while driving Thailand to become the hub of EV usage and manufacturing in ASEAN.”

Beloved among Thais, the ORA Good Cat is a 100% electric vehicle that perfectly combines classic design with modernity under the ‘Retro Futuristic’ concept. The cabin is neatly designed based on the ‘Intelligent Cockpit with Exquisite Craftsmanship’ concept, and the vehicle is fully equipped with technology solutions catering to various lifestyles. The ORA Good Cat 400 PRO can run for up to 400 kilometers based on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) standard. With direct charging (DC), its battery level reaches 80% capacity from zero (0%-80%) in 46 minutes; it takes about 8 hours with AC charging at home. The ORA Good Cat also comes with five driving modes: Standard, Sport, Eco, Eco+ and Autonomous. Drivers can choose which they prefer for any situation. GWM delivered 696 units of ORA Good Cat to Thai fans in July. As a result, since the start of deliveries up to the present, 2,560 ORA Good Cats have been put on Thailand’s roads (as of July 2022).
