Great Wall Motor (GWM), as the ‘Global Intelligent Technology Company’, is following through on its commitment to becoming Thailand’s xEV leader, receiving three awards at the 43rd Bangkok International Motor Show, while also boasting a successful showcase of intelligent electric vehicles and innovative technologies.
With the ‘Leading the Future’ concept, GWM has introduced cutting-edge products, quality services, and exceptional experiences to Thai consumers.
GWM has received overwhelming interest and feedback since the inaugural day of the show, presenting the first official showcase in Thailand of the ‘TANK 300 HEV Concept Car’ – the modern offroad SUV for adventurous users, and the much loved sporty ‘ORA Good CAT GT’, together with the return of the All New HAVAL H6 Plug-in Hybrid SUV and a full lineup of popular xEVs available in the Thai market including the All New HAVAL H6 Hybrid SUV, All New HAVAL JOLION Hybrid SUV and ORA Good Cat as well as attractive activities and special offers. As a result, Grand Prix International plc, the host of the Bangkok International Motor Show, presented three prestigious awards as tokens of achievement to GWM led by Narong Sritalayon, Managing Director; Michael Chong, General Manager; and Pandora Yu, Marketing Director of Great Wall Motor (Thailand).

Awarded with the Exhibit Design Award, GWM’s booth is outstanding and was precisely designed. The front area is dedicated to the showcasing of popular xEVs led by the TANK 300 HEV Concept Car, ORA Good Cat GT, and All New HAVAL H6 Plug-in Hybrid SUV as highlights, and features a large LED screen embracing visitors. The inner part is allocated for activities and GWM’s smart driving innovations such as GWM LEMON hybrid DHT Technology and GWM LEMON E. The rear space has been transformed into a Lifestyle Store, GWM Bar, and Lifestyle Lounge ready to welcome visitors during the day. The booth is also packed with entertaining activities to provide new experiences to visitors.
The TANK 300 HEV Concept Car was given its first overseas showcase in Thailand and attained the Best Concept HEV Award. The vehicle is outstanding with its classic design – a perfect mix of ruggedness, luxury and modern convenience. The vehicle is equipped with a powerful engine and intelligent technologies that suit urban driving lifestyles while also catering to those going on adventurous journeys. It is fitted with sturdy front and rear bumpers and large durable wheels, along with seven driving modes for all types of terrain; L2+ intelligent driving assistance system; and more than 30 driving assistance features. The TANK 300 HEV Concept Car is built on the TANK platform, GWM’s intelligent platform for off-roaders.
Similarly, not only did the ORA Good Cat GT make its first official appearance in Thailand but also seized the Best Design EV Award. The sporty vehicle from the ORA brand comes with maximum power of 105 kW and maximum torque of 210 Nm. It boasts an eye-catching sporty design featuring a carbon-fiber grille at the front and GT-inscribed stylish spoiler at the rear, along with 18” two-tone alloy wheels and red brake disc calipers. Detailed in unique red and black, the GT interior is equipped with a driver memory seat and a welcome seat system, driver seat massage system, auto air ventilation system for driver and front passenger, and a hands-free electric tailgate.
