The company has also launched the HUAWEI MatePad 10.4-inch 2022, a highly efficient tablet that performs like a mini laptop for a robust era of working. Powered by HarmonyOS and coupled with the HUAWEI M-Pencil Package 2nd generation and HUAWEI Smart Keyboard, the tablet boasts the ability to connect with Huawei’s smartphones and laptops via Multi-screen Collaboration as well as HUAWEI Super Device. Completing the smart office line-up is the HUAWEI MateBook 14s, a premium multi-touch screen laptop that comes with the upgraded HUAWEI Mobile App Engine Beta Program, bringing a world of smartphone apps to life on the laptop screen and acting as a hub for HUAWEI Super Device, which further solidifies the ‘Seamless AI Life’ vision.
HUAWEI MatePad 10.4-inch 2022: highly efficient tablet that offers PC-like experience
The HUAWEI MatePad 10.4-inch 2022 is one of the Smart Office products in the line-up developed to run on HarmonyOS, which displays a more convenient user interface (UI), from an organized home layout and customizable widgets to compatibility with multi-tasking features namely Multi-Window – working up to four apps simultaneously, and App Multiplier – opening the main page and subpage of an app side-by-side in horizontal view. Similarly, the HUAWEI MateBook Series can connect with other devices within the Huawei ecosystem; the tablet includes Multi-screen Collaboration with Huawei smartphones. By showing a smartphone display on the tablet screen, users have the freedom to easily transfer files between HUAWEI devices smoothly in a drag-and-drop manner. Pairable with the HUAWEI M-Pencil Package 2nd generation, users can experience realistic notetaking, doodling, and drawing with various features. ‘Annotate’ allows users to take side notes on documents; ‘Take Snippet’ provides opportunities to select a part on display to edit and share after just a double-tap; users can also turn their handwriting into text by activating ‘HUAWEI FreeScript[1]’ which supports Thai, English, and Chinese for a comfortable notebook-like experience on various chat apps, browsers, and notetaking apps such as HUAWEI NotePad, Noteshelf, Jnotes and Touchnotes. Meanwhile, the HUAWEI Smart Keyboard helps transform the tablet into a laptop or a small PC through instant Bluetooth connectivity, delivering responsive typing performance plus many shortcut keys for quick document edits – especially on WPS Office, available on the tablet, which enhances working efficiency even more by offering many templates and types of document management.
In terms of entertainment, the HUAWEI MatePad 10.4-inch 2022 was designed to flaunt a sleek body packed with features to promptly satisfy daily needs. HUAWEI FullView Display owns an 84% screen-to-body ratio and comes with a 2K resolution for true-to-life screen details with minimal impact on the eyes, with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free certification. Huawei also went further to create great portable entertainment with a quad-channel, quad-speaker sound system in collaboration with Harman Kardon for a delightful sound experience, enhanced with Huawei’s own Histen 7.0 for a more defined and accurate virtual bass. The tablet is powered by a 7,250 mAh battery, which supports 1080p HD video playback up to 12 hours[2], making content consumption undisturbed. Huawei is committed to expanding its ecosystem ‘Seamless AI Life’ following the 1+8+N strategy, recently initiating the implementation of HUAWEI Super Device, where the HUAWEI MateBook Series becomes the center of connectivity – led by the HUAWEI MateBook 14s. Purposefully infused with specs and ultra slim design, the flagship laptop features and the upgraded HUAWEI Mobile App Engine Beta Program allows users to install and run applications from the AppGallery directly on the laptop.
