InterContinental Singapore presents TENUTA by Park90

With polished professionalism, fine food pairings and experiential events, Tenuta by Park90 ups the ante for wine enjoyment and immerses guests in the exciting Old and New World of Italian wines with over 400 labels.

Tenuta by Park90 is born from a joint venture between InterContinental Singapore and Park90 to bring the ethos of a premier wine bar together with a focus on one of the most lauded wine countries in the world, Italy – the perfect complement to InterContinental Singapore’s flagship bistronomic Italian restaurant, LUCE by Davide Giacomelli, which opened in May 2022.

Meaning ‘estate’ in Italian, Tenuta alludes to its all-Italian roots by serving only wines and spirits made in Italy. Located in the spacious and grand Lobby Lounge of InterContinental Singapore, Tenuta is  opened to public and comes to life in the evenings from 5pm, when the professional sommelier team lead by Aleksandra Arzhakova guides guests through the extensive wine list of over 420 Italian labels, the largest such speciality list in Singapore.  “Park90 has been successfully expanding our footprint overseas while at the same time our strong homeground base remains a core priority for us,” says Tracy Koo, Chief Executive Officer of Park90. “We are pleased to introduce our second Park90 in Singapore which forms part of our ongoing strategic plans. Tenuta is our curated Italian showcase with a distinctive focus which will appeal to all levels of wine lovers.”

Menu Highlights 

The wine list contains more than 420 labels at its launch, with over 200 wines priced at S$100 and under, underscoring the affordable, boutique gems that are waiting to be found in every corner of Italy. The list comprises Italy’s 20 controlled designation of origin (DOC) wine-growing regions, including some of its largest: Veneto, Tuscany and Piedmont, and some of its smallest: Calabria, Molise and Valle d’Aosta.

 Each month, the menu highlights different themes and lesser-known producers, kicking off November 2022 with Campania as the theme; producer Ar.Pe.Pe Valtellina from the Alps; and winery Cantina Terlano in Alto Adige. Up to 10 wines by the glass will showcase indigenous local grapes as well as more premium bottles using Coravin (a wine preservation tool), with prices starting from $16 a glass.

For a fine wine paring experience, indulge in a curated Signature Bites menu that presents the best of InterContinental Singapore’s award-winning restaurants. LUCE by Davide Giacomelli brings to the table the restaurant’s signature Bruschettine ($16), with tomato tartare, basil, Taggiasche olives and Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese on toasted sourdough country bread. The Carpaccio di Ricciola Alla Mediterranea ($24) is also one not to be missed – a refreshing amberjack carpaccio with Liliput capers, cherry tomatoes, fresh herb salad and lemon dressing.

For lovers of Chinese and Asian flavours, Michelin-recommended Man Fu Yuan serves up Deep-Fried Chicken En Papillote ($18), an all-time favourite Sichuan Chicken ($24) and Spicy Golden Soft-Shell Crab ($24).
