It’s Okay to Take a Break

The Gallery 36 at Pullman Bangkok Hotel G proudly presents It’s Okay to Take a Break, the first solo exhibition by Naruemon Yimchavee. The exhibition will run from 13th July – 8th September 2019.

It’s Okay to Take a Break encourages the viewers to live life in the present and give ourselves some time. Naruemon believes that everyone is working so hard to achieve their goals and focus on certain important things including money, work, family, friend or even dreams. However, the artist thinks that the most important thing is to not forget to take a break. She adds that taking a break allows more time to think and reflect, worry less and be inspired by new ideas.

The exhibition presents a rich, colourful, vibrant yet powerful and creative imagery. All of her artworks will be in digital printing using illustration techniques. Naruemon does not seek to form a clear answer or solutions to a problem but instead aims to inspire her audience through all these cheerful works.

Born in Bangkok, Naruemon Yimchavee or known as Banana Blah Blah graduated in Communications Art & Design from Bangkok University. She currently works as a freelance illustrator and part time musician for Blue Yogurt Band. Her work was featured in numerous magazines, including 1001 Nights Editions, a day BULLETIN and The Jam Mag. She also designed the album cover for Thai musician.
