Jetstar Asia Celebrates 18 Years Of Flyin

Singapore-based low-cost carrier, Jetstar Asia celebrates its 18th birthday today, launching a #freedomtofly campaign and an 18-hour sale to mark the special milestone with its customers.
Freedom to Fly Campaign
The ‘coming-of-age’ campaign supports travelers who have recently turned 18, encouraging them to discover themselves through travel, whether independently or with friends.

“During the pandemic, the freedom to fly was taken away from us. As borders relax, we are reminded not to take flying for granted, and as we commemorate our anniversary, we encourage all customers, especially young adults who have come of age, to discover
themselves and the world through travel,” said Vicky Wang, Regional Marketing Manager of Jetstar Asia.

As part of the campaign, Jetstar offers professional travel tips, destination inspiration and even scripts to help those conversations with parents to assure them they’ve done their homework and earned your “freedom to fly”.

To record these ‘coming-of-age’ travel adventures, Jetstar has launched a contest, to find the next aspiring travel influencer. The online content creator will win $18,000 worth of Jetstar Asia flight vouchers so they have the opportunity to travel and record their journey on Instagram. Entries must be submitted by 15 January 2023. Details are available on our Instagram page.

Freedom To Fly Sale
Jetstar Asia has also launched a #freedomtofly sale demonstrating the airline’s ongoing commitment to making travel more accessible for travelers. 18,000 one-way fares across Jetstar Asia’s extensive Southeast Asian network will go on sale starting from just SGD66.
The sale, which starts at noon today, runs for 18 hours, until 6:00am on 14 December, unless sold out prior. Travel periods vary per route but include 29 January 2023 to 3 October 2023.
