JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa Supports Worldwide Earth Hour Movement For The Environment By Going Dark For One Hour

JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa will go dark for one hour on March 28th to shine a light on climate action in support of Earth Hour 2020. The hotel will join millions around the world in turning off its lights at 8:30 p.m. local time to illuminate a powerful message about environmental awareness and action. The World Wildlife Fund (WWF) created the annual global environmental awareness event 13 years ago to emphasize the threat of climate change.

JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa will participate by hosting the Earth Hour ceremony to build environment awareness and drive real positive changes to protect our planet which activities include: turn off exterior signage lighting; dim or turn off non-essential interior lighting; use candlelight in appropriate public areas such as lobby, restaurants and bars; and invite hotel guests to gather together at the hotel’s lobby; lit the candles in the symbolic of 60+ Earth Hour on Mai Khao beach.

The resort also offers ‘Earth Hour Specials. Guests can enjoy the spa treatment at Mandara Spa, receive 20% discount on 60-minute Balinese massage or organic facial treatment between 8.30 pm – 10.00 pm.
