Two hours of bliss unfolds as the spa’s adept therapists first administer a 30-minute cream-based Lavender Body Scrub with essential lavender oil, milk protein, yogurt extracts and apricot seed to encourage cell turnover and the generation of fresher, younger-looking skin. The scrub also hydrates and locks moisture in.
Lavender oil has been used as a skin restorative for many centuries—it was favoured in ancient cultures for treating burns and grazes and has similar medical applications even today. It leaves the skin feeling soft, supple and nourished. The powerful extracts of the flower not only treat the skin, it’s beautiful fragrance helps to calm the mind and acts as an aid to relaxation. Which is the cornerstone of the following 90-minute Aroma Massage with Bora Bora sand pouch compresses and essential lavender oil. Use of the sand pouches helps to ease tired muscles while the aromatic lavender oil rejuvenates tired minds.
