Meliá Hotels International Expands INNSiDE Brand in Asia with Two New Hotel Openings

Meliá Hotels International is expanding its INNSiDE brand in Asia with the opening of two new hotels in Kuala Lumpur and Bangkok. These new properties are designed for those with curious minds who lead a fluid lifestyle, blending work and leisure seamlessly.

The first property to open will be the INNSiDE by Meliá Kuala Lumpur Cheras in March. Situated in the heart of the vibrant commercial hub of Cheras, this 238-room property offers guests a prime location for both business and leisure. The hotel features two multifunctional spaces for co-working and idea stimulation, along with an alfresco infinity pool with a sun-lounging deck for visitors to take a break.

The second property, the 208-room INNSiDE by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit, is located in the trendy On Nut neighbourhood of Bangkok. The hotel embraces the local culture with design elements inspired by Bangkok landmarks and temples. Guests can take in the stunning cityscape from the co-working space on the 32nd floor, while the top two floors feature a sky-high pool bar and open-air swimming pool. Dining options include local cuisine and Spanish tapas, in honour of Meliá’s Spanish roots. This property also eliminates single-use plastic and provides drinking water in recycled glass bottles.

Both properties join INNSiDE by Meliá Yogyakarta and INNSiDE by Meliá Zhengzhou, which opened in 2017. INNSiDE by Meliá Yogyakarta, located in the city famous for its vibrant art scene and cultural sites, has a playful vibe with a minibar and relaxation area incorporated into the meeting room. The rooftop pool and bar provide space for visitors to unwind and socialize while taking in incomparable views of Merapi mountain. The hotel also features unique green initiatives, such as turning used eggshells into fertilizer for the fruit and vegetable garden.

INNSiDE by Meliá Zhengzhou is located in the thriving business district of China’s Henan province. The 335-room property features an all-day dining restaurant paying tribute to local cuisine and welcomes guests’ furry friends.
