MQDC Presents Projects Across Its Brands at “MQDC Well Living Expo” to Promote “Sustainnovation for All Well-Being”

MQDC, a leading property developer, is presenting its residences reflecting its leadership in “sustainnovation”, or innovation for sustainability, at the “MQDC Well Living Expo” on 12-15 October in the Fashion Hall on the 1st floor of Siam Paragon Shopping Center, where visitors will find exclusive offers on homes with a 30-year warranty under the MQDC Standard.

Mr. Assada Kaeokhiao, a Chief Operating Officer of MQDC, said that all MQDC’s residential projects will be on display at this expo, showing the company’s dedication to developing and inventing innovations for sustainable quality or “sustainnovation”. This commitment differentiates MQDC from other developers under its mission to develop projects for the well-being of all life (“For All Well-Being”).

“At the ‘MQDC Well Living Expo’ visitors will see the connection between residential concepts and innovations for sustainability. This approach isn’t only about technology. Sustainnovation is central from the start of design to enhance quality of life for residents, nearby communities, and all life,” he said.

Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) by MQDC was set up by the company 6 years ago as a hub to research and develop design for all MQDC projects for quality of life (Boundless Life-Quality Design), sustainability (Absolute World Care), and community benefit (Ultimate Loving Community).

“We apply the MQDC Standard for quality inspection in project development. All our projects must pass this standard, a key reason we’re confident to offer our customers a 30-year warranty. This warranty is the longest in the Thai real estate industry,” Mr. Assada said.

MQDC’s residential projects at the expo include flagship projects such as The Forestias. Whizdom The Forestias Mytopia, Whizdom The Forestias Petopia, and Whizdom The Forestias Destinia have distinct concepts to suit their different target groups. But all 3 provide high quality of life amid 4.8 hectares of forest with technology for a good environment.

The Aspen Tree The Forestias has been developed in collaboration with Baycrest Center, a world-leading healthcare institution for older adults in Canada. Visitors can discover standards and medical services for residents aged 50+ under The Aspen Tree’s unique “Lifetime Care”.

The Forestias also features utility systems with energy-saving technology such as its central utility plant (CUP). The CUP supports an air-conditioning system with cold water used for the first time in Thailand. With Energy Management Unit (EMU) and Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) technology, innovations will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 30,000 tons per year.

“MQDC Well Living Expo” will also highlight MQDC’s use of knowledge from RISC, such as the selection of sustainable, eco-friendly, and reusable material under its Biodiversity Standard. Applications include Thailand’s first implementation of the LEED HOME Standard, taking account of energy use and heat entering the home to reduce indoor temperatures.

The Strand Thonglor is the first condominium in Thailand to use the ERV Air Circulation System with IAQ CO2 Tracker, which monitors and removes indoor carbon dioxide for fresh air.

Whizdom Coex Pinklao and the new Whizdom Craftz Samyan, in an outstanding location at the heart of Bangkok, combine “Smart Living” and “Smart Building”. A city-level air-purification tower, “Fahsai”, invented by RISC, provides clean air free from PM 2.5 dust for high quality of life.

In addition to innovations, another event highlight is special promotions. Privileges include discounts of up to 3 million baht, vouchers from Siam Paragon worth over 2 million baht, and special lending rates from partners exclusively for MQDC customers at the expo.
