New Bangkok luxury hotel to open this month

Savitri RamyarupaCommenting on the opening of their new high-end property in the heart of Bangkok, Khun Savitri Ramyarupa, Managing Director of Chatrium Hospitality, said in a recent interview that the investment is set to have an investment return within 8-10 years. Chatrium Hospitality will open its newest hotel on 28 November 2022 with the unveiling of the Chatrium Grand Bangkok,

located in the heart of the city’s prime shopping and business area. The hotel is an enhanced version of Chatrium Hospitality’s luxury collection.

Chatrium Hospitality’s Group General Manager Rene Balmer said that the new deluxe property’s competitor set included Kempinski Hotels, InterContinental, Plaza Athenee, the Park Hyatt and in specific markets due to location, the Centara Grand at Central World.

The 600 key development is owned by City Realty, the real estate arm of the Sophonpanich family, with investment in the project totalling THB 5.5 billion, approximately USD 330,000 per room.

General Manager Daniel James Kerr says the twin-tower hotel and residences will be an urban retreat like no other.

The hotel’s popularity and superb location are evident with its top suite, the glorious presidential suite, already booked for three years, to a Japanese businessman ahead of the Chatrium Grand Hotel’s opening.

With convenient access to Siam Paragon, the famous lifestyle mall, surrounded by retail attractions and perched on the banks of Bangkok’s most famous canal, Khlong Saen Saep, and just moments from Siam BTS SkyTrain station, the Chatrium Grand is set to become one of Bangkok’s finest.
