The oneworld® Alliance has again been named Best Airline Alliance in the Global Traveler 18th annual GT Tested Reader Survey awards, winning the title for the 12th year in a row.
The GT Tested Reader Survey awards recognise the best in travel providers, as voted on by the readers of Global Traveler magazine. This year’s winners will be honoured at a gala reception on 14 December at The Peninsula Beverly Hills in Los Angeles, where oneworld Director of Global Brand, Marketing and Loyalty Maria Krasilnikova-McKinnon will accept the award on oneworld’s behalf.
oneworld member airlines were also named winners in the GT Tested Reader Survey awards, including repeat wins in several categories.
Alaska Airlines, oneworld’s newest member airline, won in the category for Outstanding Diversity & Inclusion in Travel (Airline). The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature card from Bank of America received two awards: Best Frequent Flyer Affinity Credit Card (for the 10th consecutive year) and Best Frequent Flyer Affinity Credit Card Benefits (for the third consecutive year).
American Airlines, a oneworld founding member, was named Best Airline for Domestic First Class for the seventh consecutive year. American Airlines AAdvantage Executive Platinum won for Best Frequent Flyer Elite-Level Program and AA.com received Best Airline Website.
Royal Air Maroc, which joined oneworld in 2020 as the alliance’s first full member in the African continent, was named Best Airline in Africa.
oneworld’s win in the GT Tested Reader Survey caps off a series of awards for the global airline alliance. In September, oneworld was named World’s Best Airline Alliance by Skytrax. This was followed by oneworld winning Best Airline Alliance in the Best in Business Travel Awards by Business Traveler USA, announced in November. Most recently, oneworld received Best Airline Alliance in the Business Traveller UK awards.
