Oysters were popular with French socialites and epicureans in the 17th century and have since become a delicacy the world over. The Fine de Claire is a famous French oyster that has undergone its last affinage or refinement in the ‘Claire’s’ where they are grown and get their name. They are finished for several weeks in shallow clay ponds where they acquire a superior quality shell to oysters grown in the open sea which gives them a stronger, slightly sweeter taste with a pleasant buttery aftertaste. These oysters are perfectly paired with beverages with a uniquely crisp, acidic and dry character.
Enjoy oysters prepared in your preferred style for THB 40 per piece, THB 240 per half dozen or THB 480 per dozen, when purchased with a choice of beverage pairing of Australian Pinical Estate Reserve Chardonnay, Iron Balls Gin or Masumi Okuden Kantsukuri Junmai Sake, or pair with your favourite drinks from our extensive menu. Pairing prices start from THB 290 for one oyster paired with a glass of Iron Balls Gin or Pinical Estate Reserve Chardonnay.
Available between 5.00-10.00pm daily, diners can enjoy these delicacies at the trendy Bangkok Trading Post Bistro & Deli or the spacious Nimitr Terrace on the 27th floor, with stunning views of the city’s nightscape.
