Primosic Wine & Dine at Rossini’s

 May – From May 20 – 26, Rossini’s invites diners to experience its special Primosic Wine & Dine menus, and a gourmet Primosic Wine Dinner on Saturday May 25.

Executive Chef Gaetano Palumbo has created a selection of exceptional dishes to enjoy with Primosic wines from Collio in the northeast Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. The Primosic family have been producing renowned wines since the 19th century. Today, the family grow the classic grape varietals to produce wines that are pure expressions of Collio and centuries of tradition.

Chef Gaetano’s Primosic menus can be ordered as three, four or five courses with wine pairings. The choice of dishes includes appetizers of green asparagus with tuna tartare, white asparagus purée, duck egg yolk and green garlic mayonnaise. Other highlights include soft potato gnocchi with white asparagus and morel mushrooms, grilled Wagyu dry age prime rib Australian beef, and more.

On Saturday May 25, Chef Gaetano will welcome discerning epicureans to his Primosic Wine Dinner with canapés and sparkling Bellavista Alma Cuveé Brut.

The memorable six-course meal will begin with an appetizer of white asparagus, red prawns with pine nuts and beer mustard sauce paired with Primosic Murno Pinot Grigio Collio Friuli Venezia Giulia 2016, followed by deep-fried zucchini blossom in saffron batter with crab meat and zolfini beans, and lightly salted cod baccalá with clams in vignarola soupcomplemented by Primosic Gmajne Chardonnay Collio, Friuli Venezia Giulia 2013. Chef Gaetano’s menu of modern Italian cuisine will also include carnaroli rice risotto with white asparagus, speck ham and morel mushrooms matched with Primosic Refosco Friuli Venezia Giulia 2015, and veal tenderloin with banana prawns, porcini mushrooms, smoked potato and garlic purée with Primosic Murno Merlot Collio Friuli-Venezia Giulia 2012. The evening will end with white asparagus ice cream with black truffle and pollen and a glass ofPrimosic Ribolla di Oslavia Riserva, Collio Friuli-Venezia Giulia 2012, followed by coffee, tea and sweet treats.

  • 5-course menu of appetizer, soup, pasta, main, and dessert with six glasses of wine which includes Bellavista Alma Cuvée Brut, Primosic Pinot Grigio Murno 2016, Primosic Chardonnay Gmajne 2013, Primosic Refosco 2015, Merlot Murno 2012, and Primosic Ribolla di oslavia Gialla Riserva 2012 at THB 3,950++

The Primosic six-course Wine Dinner on Saturday May 25 is THB 3,950++.

Rossini’s has been awarded L’Assiette Michelin, or the Michelin Plate, a new worldwide designation included in the renowned Michelin Guide that indicates a “restaurant where the inspectors discovered quality food.”
