Royal Enfield Takes Riders on an Adventure Ride of a Lifetime with Tour of Thailand 2022

Royal Enfield, the world’s oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, today successfully concluded its global marquee ride – Tour of Thailand 2022 that celebrates the spirit of motorcycling. One of the largest curated ride experiences for Royal Enfield owners in Thailand, Tour of Thailand sees participation from riding enthusiasts celebrating the spirit of brotherhood and camaraderie. The 4th edition of the Tour of Thailand was organized for a week with strict adherence to all COVID protocols.

The Tour of Thailand is a 7-day driving adventure designed for all levels of driving enthusiasts. with more than 1,565 kilometers of routes on a winding path in the midst of beautiful scenery This is one of the best rides from Royal Enfield, a journey that brings the world of Royal Enfield riders together for a truly immersive motorcycling experience.

Commenting on the Tour of Thailand 2022, Vimal Sumbly, Business Head, Asia Pacific markets at Royal Enfield, said, “Royal Enfield with its 120 year old legacy has always nurtured the Pure motorcycling spirit through adventure, travel and exploration. This year, we have seen a very encouraging response from riders in Thailand with 24 riders from five provinces and the metro city Bangkok. Tour of Thailand celebrates riders and their common passion and enthusiasm for riding a motorcycle, this year Royal Enfield is rooting for the adoption of Responsible Travel practices by its rider community, in a bid to #LeaveEveryPlaceBetter. Towards this, a behaviour change campaign is being launched to sensitize and encourage riders to – carry their own waste back, support local communities and businesses, avoid single-use plastic during the ride and maintain all COVID protocols.

This year, the Tour of Thailand saw participation from 24 riders across Thailand. The ride was flagged off from Hotel New Siam Riverside near the democracy monument in Bangkok in the presence of Regional Business Manager – Pikul Sivaratana. The ride saw motorcycling enthusiasts of all ages from diverse regions and social identities come together for a riding adventure that is inclusive and fiercely unique.

To ensure riders safety, strict COVID protocols and testing were facilitated before the flag-off. All participants were checked for temperature and a vaccination certificate. Along with this, wearing a mask was mandatory and all riders were encouraged to keep a safe distance from each other.
