There have been no reported COVID-19 cases found in Koh Samui however precautions were made in order to reduce the spread so we temporarily closed our doors to new guests in April. Currently the situation in Koh Samui is relaxed and it’s now business as usual. Now, more than ever, we are focused on the health and safety of all our guests and employees, without compromising the quality of your experience when you stay with us.
“Following the news of the outbreak of Covid-19 we have been vigilantly monitoring the situation and of course following all health and safety recommendations from the World Health Organisation (WHO). The safety of our guests is our primary concern and very quickly after the pandemic was announced we had an external company come and sanitize each and every villa. This was done all across the property, when guests left and again before new guests arrived. We want to make this commitment so that our guests don’t just have our word but we have a certificate to give them peace of mind for their stay” said John Dopere, Samujana’s General Manager.
Samujana has precautions in place to ensure a healthy stay for guests. Currently this includes everything from handwashing hygiene and using specific cleaning products to guest room and common area cleaning procedures. Naturally villas at Samujana lend themselves well to social distancing and the team are on hand to help with anything guests need during their stay including fetching groceries and arranging private trips and transport. Samujana is 15 minutes away from Bangkok Hospital Samui which is an internationally accredited hospital where your guests will be well taken care of should there be a concern with suspected Covid-19 or indeed any other medical emergency.

Samujana has been working hard with its global partners to provide a more Relaxed Booking Policy. This policy involves new re-booking procedures and relaxed payment policies.
