Seasonal Sensations to savour with the launch of ‘Spring Guestronomic Set Journey’ at Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu

Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu at The Okura Prestige Bangkok, marks the changing of the season and invite guest to savour the season of delicate flavour with the launch of ‘Spring Guestronomic Set Journey,’ available from 2 March 2022 onwards.

Celebrating the new season at Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu with the ‘Spring Guestronomic Set Journey’ where each ingredient is carefully selected, using refined and top-notch ingredients produced by some of the best artisans in Europe and Japan, to appreciate its prime.

Each crafted dish is representing light, dainty and refreshing flavours to showcasing spring season.  This new seasonal menu has been crafted by Chef de Cuisine Gerard Villaret Horcajo, who recently joined the team in Bangkok from sister restaurant Ciel Bleu, the renowned Michelin two-star restaurant at Hotel Okura Amsterdam.

Chef Gerard reveals his extensive gastronomic experience whilst ensuring Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu’s culinary principled centering on seasonal specialties with ‘from nose to tail’ philosophy, prepared in sophisticated French cuisine laced with Japanese touches. Hence, diners may indulge in dishes such as ‘Fruit de Mer’ with seaweed, avocado and sudachi; ‘lobster’ with garden herbs, ninjin and tomato; ‘Karifurawa’ with aka miso, black truffle and Beurre Noisette; and ‘Kagawa Olive A5 Wagyu’ with pommes dauphine, shallot and Awabi Take.

“I like to focus on the finest ingredients and I choose to work with seasonal produce that is available fully-fresh and at its prime. The ingredients we use here at Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu are top-notch and carefully selected from trusted European and Japanese suppliers,” explained Chef Gerard. “Working with and learning from Chef Arjarn Speelman at Ciel Bleu in Amstersam was a privilege and I want to ensure that the key element and dining concept there and here remains in continuity which is one based on French fine-dining infused with Japanese influences that are manifested in a guestronomy dining journey of pleasure.”

‘Spring Guestronomic Set Journey’ at Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu available from 2 March 2022. Ku-Ki Experience (4-courses) is priced at Baht 3,800++; Chikyu Experience (6-courses) is priced at Baht 4,600++ and Mizu Experience (8-courses) is priced at Baht 5,900++.  Elements, inspired by Ciel Bleu is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 18:00 hrs. to 22:30 hrs.
