Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa is once again instrumental in bringing top jazz acts from Thailand and around the world to the peaceful Thai resort town for the Hua Hin International Jazz Festival 2019.
As the main sponsor of this world-class jazz festival for the third consecutive year, the resort is also playing its part by hosting “Jazz Night by The Beach Charity Dinner” with a star-studded musical lineup and wining & dining to match.
Tickets are already on sale for the Thursday, June 6, 2019, gala event in the picturesque setting of Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa’s Oceanfront Lawn. The Jazz Dinner is priced at THB 1,000 net, including soft drinks, and with a requested dress code of “beachside smart casual – navy + yellow”. The dining format will feature food stalls freshly-preparing Hua Hin and Cha-Am favorite dishes. There will also be a lucky draw. Proceeds after deduction of expenses will go to support education at the local Wang Klai Kangwon School. Moreover, pupils from the school will also be playing for guests as part of the Klai Kangwon School Big Band of 50 dynamic young maestros featured on the jazz entertainment bill.
Jazz-loving guests will also have the chance to harmonize with the compelling melodies of the Sound of Siam trio led by Thailand superstar KOH Mr. Saxman; New York Latin luminary Mitch Frohman; Brazil virtuoso Rubem Farias; the Netherlands Jazz Big Band; Alexander Beets & Round Midnight; Dutch-Curacaoan singer and songwriter Izaline Calister, BBop, Big Band of Penang and; Klai Kangwon School Big Band of 50 dynamic young maestros. Khun Chatchawan Dechapanya, a former Klai Kangwon Palace School student, will give a special cameo performance.
Plus guests can view local artists’ latest creations in a special art exhibition also within earshot of the jazz action.
