Start the Day Swiss-Style with Rim Klong Café’s Healthy New Weekend Breakfast Menu

Rim Klong Café, the casual and elegant canal-side eatery at Mövenpick BDMS Wellness Resort Bangkok, is giving guests and local residents the chance to kickstart their Swiss weekend with a new breakfast and brunch menu that harnesses the purity and energy of the Swiss Alps.Available every Saturday and Sunday from 8am until 4pm, the new Swiss Weekend Breakfast Menu will showcase a wide variety of delicious and nutritious dishes, all prepared in-house using natural and wholesome ingredients. With over 20 hot and cold options, ranging from the hearty to the healthy, every guest can customise their culinary journey and enjoy a different experience every time.

Diners can tuck into a selection of freshly-baked breads and pastries, including guilt-free dark rye bread and mixed seed sourdough, or the slightly more indulgent butter croissant, pain au chocolat and blueberry muffin, served with butter and Mövenpick jam. Bircher-Benner Müsli, made fresh in-house based on an official Mövenpick recipe that is over 70 years old, provides a wonderfully nourishing start to the day, while soaked chia seeds with almond milk, yoghurt with mixed seeds and blueberries, or a fresh green salad are all packed full of goodness.

Guests seeking a hot morning meal or light lunch can opt for a plate of European cold cuts, including high-quality cured meats, smoked salmon and condiments, a premium cheese plate, or smooth liver pâté with toasted brioche. Free-range eggs can be prepared in any style and served with classic accompaniments, such as bacon, sausages, grilled tomatoes and mushrooms, and chefs can also create classic Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon or ham, or poached eggs on avocado toast – a fitness favourite! No true Alpine breakfast would be complete without a rösti, and Rim Klong Café serves this traditional Swiss potato cake with fried eggs and bacon.

Finally, for diners with a sweet tooth, buttermilk pancakes or waffles are served with locally-sourced honey, mixed berry compote and cinnamon sugar, for a delicious treat.

The new Swiss Weekend Breakfast Menu at Rim Klong Café launches on 13th February 2021 and is available for in-house guests and local residents alike. Unlike other hotel buffet breakfasts or brunches, each à la carte menu item is cooked to-order, ensuring that every diner enjoys the perfect portion size, reducing the temptation to over-indulge and helping to eliminate food waste.

With its picturesque setting, overlooking the Saen Saeb Canal in the heart of Bangkok, Rim Klong Café is the perfect place to take a break from the stress and strain of daily life and re-energise your body and soul.
