Tetra Pak Thailand joins the Embassy of Sweden at Sweden Pavilion at the National Science and Technology Fair 2022, which is held during 13-21 August at IMPACT Exhibition and Convention Center.
Following the main theme of the event — “Art-Science-Innovation for Sustainable Society”, the Sweden Pavilion presents the exhibition “Re:waste – how Sweden is rethinking resources”, showcasing recycling and the Swedish approach to rethinking its resources.
Tetra Pak Thailand participated with a display of its partner recyclers’ products made from recycled used beverage cartons. The exhibits include fiber cement products (recycled fiber from used beverage cartons and cement), eco bricks, eco boards, roofing sheets, small tree pots and plates all made out of recycled poly-aluminum from used beverage cartons and other materials.
Thailand National Science and Technology Fair is the country’s largest fair of its sort in Asia. Showcasing science and technology in many different ways, it is an annual special event organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (with help from other related agencies) to promote and foster public interests. The objectives of the fair are to inspire young Thais (less than 16 years old) and promote public awareness in science and technology and to encourage higher education and career development in science and technology. With student competitions, governmental and commercial companies showing their latest innovations and many exhibitions and interactive activities from both international and Thai organizations.
