Thai-Italian Chamber of Commerce (TICC) is hosting The 10th Christmas Charity Gala Dinner with an auction and entertainment to raise funds and awareness for the Vejdusit Foundation, run by Bangkok Hospital. Part of the proceeds will go to the Vejdusit Foundation. The gala event is being hosted on at Shangri-la Bangkok Hotel.
The popular annual dinner is marking its 10th anniversary this year, with 2018’s evening attracting over 20 sponsors and 400 guests. The aim is to celebrate the festive season with the spirit of giving by supporting a philanthropic mission under royal patronage that helps provide medical assistance to Thai people in need and fund research too.
Part of the evening will include an artistically inspired auction such as two pieces by Persian miniature painting artist Arash Groyan, three pieces by French impressionist painter Sacha, three pieces by American artist in Thailand Amy Diener, three pieces by Mezzotint painting artist Kraisak Chirachaisakul, Italian hand-crafted ceramics by renowned Italo Bosa and a beautiful silk scarf from Thailand’s iconic Jim Thompson House brand.
Secretary General of Thai- Italian Chamber of Commerce, Michele Tomea highlights how the Christmas Charity Gala Dinner is designed to benefit everyone. “By celebrating the festive season with an annual fundraiser guests can network in a wonderful social setting, make valuable business connections as well as good friends and contacts from across the globe while giving back to Thailand and a good cause too.”
During the evening there will be a jewelry fashion show from the brand “Felicia”, the design and manufacture of fine silver and gold jewelry to the highest European standards together with the beauty of the royal Thai silk Peacock brand with beautiful patterns is a valuable Thai wisdom From the Queen Sirikit Department of Sericulture.
Along with a Thai dance performance, guests will enjoy live jazz, entertainment and a lucky draw, beginning with a cocktail reception.
