Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) opened the new Royal Orchid Prestige Lounge on the 3rd Floor, Concourse D at Suvarnabhumi Airport, based on the Ecology Green Mood Concept. The opening ceremony was presided by Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, THAI President, with the presence of Mr. Wiwat Piyawiroj, THAI Executive Vice President, Commercial, Mr. Krittaphon Chantalitanon, THAI Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Sustainable Development, Mrs. Manusnunt Sitthijirasin, THAI Managing Director, Ground Customer Services, and guests of honor.
THAI’s Royal Orchid Prestige Lounge is approximately 2,089 square meter and is open every day from 05.00-02.00 hours on the following day. The lounge has two zones: west zone for Royal First Class passengers and Royal Orchid Plus Platinum Card Members, with the east zone for Royal Silk Class passengers, Royal Orchid Plus Gold Card Members, and Star Alliance passengers. Both zones are equipped with showers, mother care rooms, and handicapped lavatories with an emergency switch.
